Are we ready to throw the lines of our sailboat and move to the hook? We still have so much to do and are really tired of spending more money. Not only do we have the marina expense, but all the little odds and ends to live off grid. We have to get our kitchen ready! The propane oven didn't work, plus propane is a heavy gas, not good on a sailboat. We convert it all to electric, and we find a large 1,800 what oven that will work. The Ninja oven would give our Victron 3000 inverter hell sounding like it was about to fry. We change our oil on the Yanmar 55hp diesel engine. Things get a little mess when I don't heed my wife's warnings. Still we got it done, and listen to the Diesel pure. Also we finally get our last head fixed. Had to replace the vacuum pump, dropped another few hundred there. We just felt that having two is better than one as we set off for blue waters.
