Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
Baking Time: 35 Minutes
Makes 2 Loaves

Moist Pumpkin Banana Cake Bread Ingredients:
2 Cups White Flour (try not to use bleached or enriched white flour, we like King Arthur Flour )
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 Cup Pumpkin Puree (if you don’t have fresh puree, use canned Pumpkin Puree with nothing added)
2 Ripe Bananas (Make sure Bananas are Really Ripe, we also use Bananas we Froze!)
3/4 Cup Pure Cane Sugar (we also have used coconut sugar, yum!)
3/4 Cup Butter Melted (only used real butter NOT margarine)
3 Eggs
Moist Pumpkin Banana Cake Bread Instructions:
1. This Recipe can be done with a mixer or by hand (we have done it both ways, just takes more time mixing by hand). You will need 2 Bowls, One for Dry ingredients and One for Wet Ingredients. In One Bowl, Add Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Salt, Cinnamon and Cloves. Mix up and Set Aside!
2. In the other Bowl, or your Mixer Bowl, add Melted Butter and Sugar. Then mix really well until Sugar starts dissolving.
3. Now add the Eggs, Mix until the Eggs are Blended really well with the Butter and Sugar. Then add the Pumpkin Puree and Mashed Bananas. Thoroughly Mix.
4. After the Wet Ingredients are mixed, it’s time to add the Dry Ingredients. Mix until well blended, make sure to scrape the sides and bottom of Bowl so all the ingredients are incorporated thoroughly.
(With a Mixer, about 1 Minute, By hand it will take a little longer.)

5. Next You will need 2 Loaf Pans, Grease them with Butter. Pour the Pumpkin Banana Batter in the loaf pans evenly.
This is what your Pumpkin Banana Cake Bread Batter should look like!
6. PreHeat the Oven at 350 Degrees F. Bake for 30 – 35 Minutes. Check the Bread with a Toothpick before taking out of oven to make sure it is done. Then take the bread out of the Oven and let the loaves cool in the pan before taking them out!

Tasty but for us needs a bit more spice. May up the clove and/or add some all-spice
Thank you for trying our recipe. We are not fans of a lot of Spice in our Pumpkin Recipes. Although while developing this recipe, we tried 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon and No Cloves, We liked the 1/4 Teaspoon of Cloves. You can also try Pumpkin Spice too, it has all those spices in it!
Ahhh soo perfect!!! Thanks for the recipe
We love this one too, glad you enjoyed it!
Have you baked this recipe in any other type of pan? If so, how did it change your cook time?
Yes, I have used the glass and Nonstick loaf pan, if your talking about a cake pan, I have a recipe called Pumpkin Sheet Cake with the times, it is less time.
Our friend made us this and my husband loved it so much I grabbed the recipe and made it for him today. Needless to say he finished the entire loaf tonight. So so good! Thanks for sharing!!
I am so glad you all loved it, we do too! It took me about a year to get the ingredients correct!
What are the nutritional values? Calories, fat, sodium, etc.
I do not do health advice, I am just a home cook who likes to write recipes, it has butter and sugar.
I replaced 1 cup of flour with oat flour, used maple syrup instead of sugar and added walnuts and raisins. Very good but could use more of the cloves or pumpkin pie spice.
Wow, you created a bread that sounds delicious!
This bread looks incredible. I have both pumpkin and overripe bananas that I need to use. I’m trying to up my protein intake as I’m Facing surgery. Do you think adding a little unflavored protien powder would mess up the recipe?
I know that protein powder can make baked goods more dry, I would recommend if you put in powder, make sure to delete that much of the flour.
Can I use regular white sugar in the recipe
Yes you can, cane sugar is what we prefer and it is a little less sweet.
