    1. Thank you for trying our recipe. We are not fans of a lot of Spice in our Pumpkin Recipes. Although while developing this recipe, we tried 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon and No Cloves, We liked the 1/4 Teaspoon of Cloves. You can also try Pumpkin Spice too, it has all those spices in it!

  1. Our friend made us this and my husband loved it so much I grabbed the recipe and made it for him today. Needless to say he finished the entire loaf tonight. So so good! Thanks for sharing!!

  2. I replaced 1 cup of flour with oat flour, used maple syrup instead of sugar and added walnuts and raisins. Very good but could use more of the cloves or pumpkin pie spice.

  3. This bread looks incredible. I have both pumpkin and overripe bananas that I need to use. I’m trying to up my protein intake as I’m Facing surgery. Do you think adding a little unflavored protien powder would mess up the recipe?

  4. I made this tonight exactly to the recipe, I even had the same flour! It was delicious and moist. I could see people wanting a little more spice… I don’t think it would hurt. But either way it was great… I enjoyed it with a little warm maple syrup and later on with cool whip. And do you think this could be made in one loaf just cook double the time?

    1. I am glad you liked it, we love this bread! We do prefer the taste of the banana and pumpkin flavor but yes if you need some more spice, do it! I have done it in 1 loaf pan and it seems to have issues fully cooking in the middle, not too bad but definitely a little gooey lol
