When we started our aluminum boat widows restore the chipping paint and corroding was bad, now they are so pretty. In this video you will see how we restored our boat windows, this would work on any metal frame window. It was a lot of work, and it is much easier to do with the windows off.

Restoring Aluminum Boat Windows - Chris Does What

Well we sid this job was easier to do with the windows off, but getting the windows off was a bit of a challenge. The screws were nice and corroded, most had to be drilled out. Once out 90% of our time was spent cleaning, sanding, and prepping, the paint was the easy part. Once painted we did let the window dry for a few days before installing, don’t rush our you may be reworking something.
