We are so done in the boatyard. Paint is done, ready to get back in the water. We only used one brand of paint, Seahawk, which should make it simple for painting in the future. We went with 3 coats of Tuff Stuff. This protects your gelcoat from barnacles and desalination. Then we layered on 3 coats of Biocop tf, this ablative paint should keep us from having to clean the bottom as much. We also finished the prop and shaft of with propglide, and we hope all our hard work pays off. We also show off this great diy yard we did all this work at. Westland Marina is an awesome diy yard that you can live on your boat as you work. The staff and customers of the yard make it that much better. No question goes unanswered, even the dumb ones I may put forth. Finally, my babe gets to see Manatees up close, so close they look like they are eating the boat just feet away.
