How to: Waffle fries in a waffle maker, Dinning in with Danielle

Waffle maker, not just for breakfast, makes great waffle fries without the grease. All we did was pop some potatoes in the microwave till they were softer so they could be pressed in the waffle maker. We then cut the potatoes into 1-inch slices, lightly salted and stuck them in the waffle maker. We had the waffle maker at the highest setting, but if they are not cooked enough you can either leave them in longer, but if you are making a lot they may get cold so pop them in the oven to crisp up to your heart's desire.
