So what are we making today babe
0:02
We are going to make a broccoli recipe, a roasted broccoli. Go see my other roasted broccolis
0:09
But this one has some different flavors in it that we've been experimenting with and we like them
0:14
So first I am using un-thawed 6 cups of broccoli. If you want to use fresh, you can use fresh
0:25
It just doesn't last that long. It starts to rot. So I use unthogged broccoli, and this is six cups
0:41
Put that right there. And then I'm going to put the ingredients on them, and then I'm going to mix them up
0:50
But I kind of want them to get piled a little bit so I can put the ingredients on them
0:54
All right. So we're going to do garlic. of course. So I'm gonna, we like garlic around here, so I'm gonna put three
1:08
tablespoons on, which is three cloves of garlic, if you're doing it with the
1:15
actual cloves. I'm a little lazy on that one. Plus I think this is cheaper. It
1:21
honestly, it really is, it's cheaper. So that's three tablespoons. Olive oil
1:35
We're going to put, let's see. I usually do about three tablespoons
1:43
I'm just going to, yeah, three tablespoons. Should be plenty. Because we want them to get roasty
1:53
Not mushy, roasted. And I don't think I need that anymore, so I'll put that right there
2:04
Salt. This is a very simple recipe but very good We been actually trying out this garlic doughy on a lot of different stuff It tastes like ranch I a ranch girl I love ranch
2:23
You sure are. So we're going to put two teaspoons of salt
2:36
Dill weed. If you have fresh, put that on there. but I'm going to use dried because I can never find fresh and it always goes bad really quickly
2:51
And so, let's see. I have another bottle. I should have probably gotten that one
2:56
So we're going to do, let's see, probably two teaspoons because this would be two tablespoons in fresh
3:07
and should have gotten my other one all right so two teaspoons of dried dill weed
3:19
and then pepper it's that simple because we don't like bland vegetables around here
3:32
And we don't like boiled, so everything is always roasted. So I'm gonna put about a teaspoon of ground
3:57
Okay, so now I'm gonna mix it up right on this pan with my hands
4:02
So I just kind of toss them a little bit. I'm going to get these ingredients going around
4:09
Get all the stuff off the bottom. That's trying to scrape. Get all that garlic stuck in here
4:22
With my potato recipes, I put them in a bowl and I shake them
4:26
But broccoli is just too gentle. I mean all these little things are going to just start So you just mix it with your hands Just keep trying to escape
4:40
And let's see. Make sure all this is all over. And then when you're done mixed
4:54
just kind of... I'm going to get some of this gargling around
4:58
And make sure you don't leave your ingredients down there. Okay. When they're mixed, you just lay them flat
5:07
You don't want them on top of each other because we want them to roast
5:12
So you just kind of mix them around. I hear that train
5:22
There's a train. We live next to a train now for a minute
5:27
For a minute. Let's see. Yep, and you just get them all flat
5:37
so that you can roast them. And we don't flip these, we just let them roast
5:43
But first we have to marinate them. So we're gonna let them sit here
5:47
with all the marinade on them for about 20 minutes. And during that time
5:58
I can't even turn on the oven. Let me wash my hands
6:04
Because I have to turn on the oven. Jasmine. Alright, so they're all flat
6:12
Not on top of each other. We're going to let this marinate for 20 minutes
6:17
But during that marination time, I'm going to turn on my oven. So we do it for $3.75
6:28
I'm going to let that warm up while this is marinating. OK, so it's been 20 minutes
6:35
We're going to stick them in the oven now. This oven wants to kill me every time I open it
6:51
In there And we going to do the cook time for 35 minutes It may need an extra five minutes but we look at 35
7:03
Okay. So I did them for 40 minutes and they're ready. Oh, it's already gone off like a second ago
7:18
We like them a little al dente with crispies on top. Go close my oven
7:33
So these are, they're kind of ranch flavor, but no cream or anything like that
7:41
So they're my ranch flavor broccoli, roasted broccoli. I have other broccoli recipes out there
7:48
Go check them out. I have a ton of side dishes. Carrots, squash, cabbage
7:56
Go check out those two. But this one is our ranch broccoli. And, yeah
8:02
So, like, subscribe. If you like what I'm doing. I'm always creating
8:10
And, um, what's the other one? Comment. Oh, yeah. Comment. Tell me if you made it
8:20
I love to hear those when you guys make them. Give me feedback about how yummy it was because that makes me feel good
8:27
Because I think it's yummy. But, you know, I'm biased too. But, yeah
8:35
And we're going to make the rest of our dinner. I'm not traveling then
8:40
Well, yeah, he's going to eat something. We do have to make the meat, of course
