0:00
Okay, we're now going to Ticeville Marina
0:04
Uh, the next day, she's up there, pulling up the anchor. It was a very calm night
0:11
And, uh, yeah, probably not going to film it because not that great of docking and don't want to wreck
0:19
Okay, guys, we are back in the marina and, uh, not love it
0:25
Not for good reasons, but, uh, this girl, shoot through the lines like a pro oh my gosh I'm shaking yeah I like anchoring and
0:37
this is so nerve-wracking but we used our rub rails a bit we didn't abuse them but it's
0:44
pretty tight in here so it probably gives us about say about half a foot foot on each side
0:51
so a little less than that it's not much but we're in here I'm going to secure the boat up and
0:59
And the first thing you're going to do when you get off your boat, in Ticeville Marine, let's take a shower
1:04
Now everything here is keep protected for your safety because there is no fence on this side
1:11
The boats are fenced in, but the rest of the facilities are not
1:17
This place has great showers, very clean, so... Yeah. In here you're going to find laundry services at great prices
1:34
You can do a load of laundry and dry it 75 cents and a dollar 25 to wash it
1:41
So pretty good prices in here. Okay so here's one of the hall cleaners
1:48
Mike, we used Mike here. He did a fabulous job. You stop in the office, you reach out and ask for Mike and he'll hook you up with a clean
1:58
bottom on your boat but marina here is pretty large so yeah I got all that going now
2:08
when it gets closer the evening or you just want to get out of the heat maybe your boat
2:12
doesn't have AC or you just want to place it to lax they have the captain's lounge here
2:16
it's got outdoor area that we can get you out of the heat and it's got the indoor
2:20
area there let's go take a look at that inside so when the captain's
2:28
You've got plenty of spacious seating right here and rather large TV, but yeah, it's nice and cool in here, definitely
2:38
And you've got some fans up here keeping that cool air moving
2:42
Wi-Fi, so there's the server rack. It's got just a switch in there and shit, but they do have all for Wi-Fi here
2:50
So when you first get to Tysville, and this is before you can jump in that lovely shower they have over there to wash off that
2:58
salty air you meet these young ladies here in the office and they'll get you
3:03
checked in get you squared away this shop also has a lot of great refreshments
3:09
including the adult variety so you can get that on and in the morning check
3:13
out the coffee right there get hooked up in the morning get your coffee on get caffeinated okay for parts of accessories you can get your layers and numbers like the layers and numbers are coming off our dingy
3:27
Probably need some more of them for our registration. But you've got your bolt array got just a few odds and ends for, you know
3:36
boat stick pushers and silicones and things like that. And then you have some lines in case you need to tie around up to the dock
3:44
They offer lines. and the cool thing about here is you can also get mail and you can ship mail here you can order off amazon if you're needing parts for that boat and get it all done
3:56
and if you're moored here they have a great dingy dock sorry for the noise they just redid the parking lot
4:03
cleaning it up there get some new lines on there but there's air prize right down the road and they'll come pick you up for your rail car deeds all the boat dogs are
4:15
dated so you don't have to worry about people break into your boat
4:25
Okay, our slip, a little tie for us. We've got about six inches to spare, but we squeezed
4:31
her on in here. Didn't damage the boat, didn't damage the dock. So on our boat, we're going to be
4:37
putting in a new faucet. Now, I had to find one that was short enough for our cabin area, because
4:45
rather small but hopefully this uh uh facilitates dish washing much better now let's look where
4:54
i'm going to install this okay so it's going right here you see the height of this
5:00
really hard to get stuff under there so I'm hoping with that elastic that spring thing
5:08
much easier to do dishes so under here you'll see we have the pex plumbing
5:14
excuse the rust marks that came with the boat and here is our pecks fitting I've
5:21
already removed that so I can easily take these off so and then I just have to
5:30
remove the the faucet so right here I unscrewed this dealie on the bottom and
5:38
this thing just pulls out now so hopefully it matches this over here
5:44
So on this new one, I took and I screwed this into this
5:51
It was only screwed into this. So I dropped the connector to the hose, the hole
5:56
I've got this rubber gasket and there's another gas gun up under there
6:01
And then you have to figure out what position you want your handle to be at
6:08
I'm thinking since we are right-handed, I'll carry it on the right-hand side and that should
6:13
a smooth operation. Okay so right here I've got the plastic O-ring and there's the rubber
6:20
seal up at the top that fits in there perfectly and now I drop it down with one hand
6:28
Now on the bottom we're just going to put this metal washer and this screw thing back on
6:34
and tighten it down It should be just hand tight because there no way to get a wrench at it Now I tighten both connectors using Teflon type and then put them on basically these are my flex connectors and get a better crescent wrench in this because that hurts your hands
6:54
And then I'm just going to take it to the pipes. Hopefully I get the hot and cold because they're not marked right
7:01
And then you check for leaks and there are no leaks and then you wipe up any mess you made
7:07
So your wife is happy with you. It does come with this plate, but for our application we're not going to need that
7:14
So we've been using this a little bit and it seems to work really well
7:18
The water control really easy to do so you can get very little water which is important on a boat
7:29
Then this just comes out and I'm glad I only went with 14 inches because it hits
7:36
And it's just because it hits up there pretty good. But yeah, this works really well
7:42
Now we got to get going because it's time to leave the marina
7:47
But now I'm going to get these lines up because we're leaving. Okay, last of the lines are, except for two are up
7:54
And time to shove the AC. I sweat a little bit. That sucks
8:02
Okay, lines are up, AC's off, powers off. We're ready to leave
8:08
Life's not too comfortable about this. A little wavy, a little windy
8:14
Got two lines on right now. And his dingy, we're going to go out that way
8:22
or we're going to back out that way, is looking like it may pose some challenges
8:27
So hopefully we won't wreck. I'm not going to record, but yeah, we'll get this done
8:33
One way or the other. So we made it out of Tiasfield Marina without a hitch
8:43
It was smooth as butter. I'm talking, just have to have a game plan on
8:49
and hopefully it goes through. But so far, knock on wood, been pretty lucky
8:56
It was docking and dock. Haven't really hit anything. We tried to blow up one fender one time
9:04
So, but we're, Now I got to watch for crab pots. We're headed to Cocoa Village from here
9:11
And, yeah, our depth right now is 7.6 foot. So this thing's shallow through here
9:23
Okay, so we've been here for almost an hour. With the engine and low-res and head-sill out, we're doing about 4.6
9:36
six nods four point seven and my babes down here cooking there let me show you
9:42
so I come down here see my babe's cooking this up some food
9:53
and bill is just enjoying the ride we've got a life jacket on
10:00
what she does the whole way of sleep he is a start pulling your way around here Okay this is the life
10:11
We're sitting here cruising under a reefed head cell. Doing about 4.5 knots
10:19
I don't know if you can see that right there. 4.4 right now
10:24
And just chilling. And there's a babe and a dog. and the dog
10:36
What do you think of Norwegian life? Well, I guess we prefer to live
10:44
We'll do there at 2.14. Get this little boat anchored right on the ICW
10:55
In fact, if you see we're a little bit on the edge of our path
10:59
And he's right in the middle. That's just awesome. I guess you got tired
11:08
Okay, we're doing five knots just under wind power. And we're actually going to go under our first bridge with no engine on
11:20
See how that works out. I'm not going to feel them because it's like I need to line up a little bit better
11:28
That is the bridge and see we're nosed in a little bit to the starboard side
11:39
So we made it into Coco Village and that was our last bridge
11:43
I didn't film it but we slipped through there pretty easily. I wish we're going to sit back to Lex and we're going to wait on some friends to show up
11:53
We got a few things to do but nothing. really big and for one fix it man yes I am going to get that January reviewed here
12:04
soon so we have for a hundred hours on that and let me show you where that thing is
12:10
we took that right there in between our dana and it's of course locked to our boat
12:16
but to start this thing I have a little string because I've taken the skin off my
12:25
nickels right there but yeah if you enjoy this video and you want to come back and see what else we're doing go ahead and
12:33
subscribe it's down there if you like our video go ahead and like it also down
12:38
there looks like this and leave comments feedback it's always welcome and next
12:46

12:51
