Okay guys so this video is gonna be all about dinghies because we gotta find us one because we gotta get out of here
0:08
So y'all stay with us and we're gonna try not to fall off the
0:13
That's why you shouldn't walk on a dock and hold a phone
0:18
But we're gonna find us a dinghy Okay guys we're up here in life flying and they sell array of dinghies and outboards and things like that plus service
0:30
so we're gonna see if they can come in the shop has a great selection of
0:36
our new boat dinghies oh here's this one a go fast dinghy we're gonna show you what
0:44
we're getting because they have a used dingy that is more within our budget but
0:52
it's it's you know you can come here for used new engines and they have a you know
1:00
assortment of things. If they don't have it here, they can order for you. If you're at Cape Marine, or the Marina in, where are we, Cape Cavanol, you can
1:09
Yeah, we're at Cape Marina and Cape Canaveral. And you can, you can
1:14
I always create. Get your dingy accessories, your engines. They even have this nice little electric get up over here if you're into that
1:23
So I'm back here in the back of this shop, and oh my gosh, this is just amazing
1:28
This is where all the magic happens when you need your boat outfit or if you're looking to get repairs done
1:34
Like he's got some boats out there. He's got a patch and he walked me through that you'll be Gator
1:39
But this is where if you have a problem or you're getting an outfit
1:44
A fit you boat like this high field right here This is a place to do it
1:50
So guys We guys use dinghy We're going to crank up the engine
1:56
See how it works then we're going to drop this off in the water
2:00
and yeah it's not that bad so it's not a high field or anything
2:09
but it should get due and when we get done with this
2:14
it expires or whatever may come back and get us a high field here
2:19
because the customer service awesome and the dogs here are so friendly too
2:24
so give them a pet So we have a dinghy
2:42
As soon as up here in the water, had to row it here. So it was from all the way over there
2:51
You may be able to see the drawbridge over there to here. because it wouldn't start. I think there's a carburetor issue. So I'm gonna look into that
3:02
Okay, I got the carburetor off. Pretty easy to take off, only two screws
3:07
Now I took the back float off of it and I've sprayed a carb cleaner through there, that's your jet
3:16
And I'm also through the fuel line over here and it comes in right here. So I'm hoping that this may
3:25
fix it. So it looks like all that was wrong with this thing was a dirty carburetor
3:32
Now it's spitting water over here and it is running. Well, it was rain. Well I don't think it's the
3:41
spark plug because it ran a bit but I'm gonna pull it and see how it looks. So I don't
3:47
think it looks that bad. I sprayed it off with some carb cleaner and we'll stick it back in
3:52
So it works. So after I pulled and cleaned the spark plug and then I adjusted this foot screw and then I just gave it back it seemed to start working
4:07
And I had the RPM a little red high and adjusted that back down
4:12
Seems to be doing good. So we found this strap on Amazon
4:18
Now that we have a dingin, we have to strap it up. Currently our solution is kind of really not a good
4:24
solution because there's no assist. This is a 6 to 1 should give me a good ratio to pull up the dinghy with the engine
4:32
Right now it's a bit of a struggle to pull up. I have to actually use the electric quench on the boat
4:37
So I'm going to open this up. Let's see what we got in it
4:42
So it comes with these little straps. So there's two per box. I've already set up one
4:49
and then it comes with about 50 foot of rope your pulleys
4:57
and a bag now I did notice on these pulley systems when you get undone
5:05
that they did not tie a great knot so that doesn't look like a bowling
5:15
it just looks like a knot so we're going to fix them
5:18
and now I have a bowling. Now I can just took this excess behind here
5:27
And now we're ready to go. So if you can see here I have a basically a one-to-one solution to my tie there and it's really hard to pull up this dingh
5:39
And over here I've got the six to one and this thing supposedly stamen still. I'll see how it holds up
5:46
So excuse my flapping sunshade, probably going to have to take that down because we're supposed to get up to 30 knots of wind
5:53
But on this pulley, I'm going to take this one off. I've already loosened it
5:58
I take to tighten all these down to Just because they seem a little loose to me the wheels still spin freely
6:08
But they were kind of jiggly in there Now we have our little loopy thing and I have my pen but I
6:16
action right here. Make sure your line is leaning back and the direction you all
6:21
fully in. Okay. That's pretty much hanging. I'll take the other end of my
6:28
string and keep it through here. Now we're down to the dinghy. Now we're down to the dinghy
6:56
I made it too tall for my backstress. I may do it like this
7:06
That looks better. So I take this. Look down like that
7:19
And it's a hood of set a clip, so it makes it really easy. And I'm going to see how easy is to pull this thing up
7:26
Pull up a partial way, then I'll take the plug out to date
7:30
Now this side. Now this side that's farther in it
8:02
Thank you See if I can get more of that water up
8:24
Yeah, horse's right. And now I can easily secure this with some bungee lines or whatnots to keep it from waving too much
8:38
So, my baby's cooking green fried tomatoes. Oh yeah, look at that
8:47
And then here. So that should be something yummy for tonight or for today right now
8:58
My breakfast. So my carburetor is still dying. So I'm going to fix this up here
9:07
I got me a water bucket here I hear it to test. I actually instead of rebuilding this, the rebuild kit costs more than the carburetor does
9:16
So I'm just going to take off the carburet and replace it. replace it. So to install this, or to un-install and install this thing, I take out that
9:24
bolt right there and I loosen this side on this intake manifold. Of course I
9:33
remove the fuel line, loosen this around so I can take this line off. I take this
9:40
PVC valve off and then once I have that off I'll take and slide this over and
9:48
so I can take these bolts. That's why I loosen that bolt back there
9:51
or took it out. And then once I have the carburetor loose
9:56
I can remove the throttle right here. All right
10:10
Let's see if it starts. First time, I know it was much better
10:34
I know's a lot better
10:47
It started quick and it just runs. So I did get it started with this one so it probably just needs a carb kit and I may look for one of them online
11:00
but right now this thing's just going to go into spares. Okay so we're out here on the water, we're riding this little six horse Nissan outboard and
11:11
some dogs are a little close. It's going to be hard to get out of our running
11:17
here but let's open this up and see how it runs I guess it's the best I can go
11:47
A lot better than rowing though
12:06
Oh yeah, so it's running good and it will idle now, which is a good thing
12:14
So yeah, just fix that next one and be on our way
12:20
And this is where we gotta come out of with our sailboat. So, this is looking quite narrow
12:27
I'm on standard view right now, I'm not widespread. Yeah, that's going to be
12:53
tight squeeze. We don't want a current to win because we've got to come from in here
13:00
They made this really hard to get out. And there's our boat
13:28
Aqua Zool. So we have to squeeze in out of here. That's going to be a blast
13:41
Okay, we never catch dolphins on cameras. Oh, we never do. They come and then they leave
13:50
They must have went underneath the boats. Mm-hmm. It looked like a baby and a mama
13:56
There's a dingy. We officially own it. We actually registered that sucker
14:01
So, that car is ours. Other cars going to our son. Yes
14:08
He's getting a truck. So that's our new car. It's running. New carburetor
14:15
All good. And for next video, it looks like our stove explode
14:23
right over there it's just in pieces so I had to have my electric kitchen yeah
14:32
propane is ever gas I don't like cooking on propane unless it's outside like on a grill or
14:37
whatever but we don't have one of those and y'all stop ship in the cold down here because uh
14:43
this ain't right yeah it's like in the 50s but tomorrow was supposed to be in the back in the 70s
14:50
oh yeah so this is uh Wednesday for us. These are pretty real time here. So, yo guys, if you like this video, go ahead and like it. It's down there. Looks like this.
