Setting Sail For The First Time On Our New Boat! | Ep 17 #sailboat #boatlife #nomad

So we go out and sail our boat for the first time. Yes it was only the head sail, but we did it! In very low wind of 2 knots, we got up to 1 knot of speed. We did get 3.5 knots with some gust, but they are so hard to catch on camera. We then go back to fixing things, like our winch that didn't work on our first sail. I can say that this sailboat right now is 5% fun, 95% fixing crap that ain't working right. This is just the beginning of our repairs, the hard is in our near future. 00:00 Intro 00:53 Danielle pulls up the anchor for the first time 01:58 There are nice boaters on the ICW 02:15 We let out the head sail for the first time 03:56 Danielle reacts to sailing for the first time 05:51 All the issues we had on our first sail 0710 We loose half our water for our sailboat because of a pex fitting 09:10 Cleaning up our Yanmar engine wiring 13:09 Dog hair is out of control on our sailboat 13:50 Fixing our electric winch on our sailboat 17:16 How I fix stripped screw holes 18:56 Are dishes a good break? šŸ“¢ Our Website: https://www.chrisdoeswhat.com/ šŸ“¢ See Our Recipes: https://www.dininginwithdanielle.com
