So basically this is just our simple review of the Power Smart suitcase Inver
0:09
Now you can find these all over Amazon, there's different brands. They're probably pretty much the same, wherever you get, but this is what we found because it was the best bang for the buck
0:21
And yeah, it's just been working. So now I usually don't have it here on this seat
0:30
I usually have it back on the rear sugar scoop because my wife said it was kind of gassy out here
0:36
So, yeah, that would be make sure you don't run this indoors or anywhere close to windows, things like that
0:43
Because you don't want the carbon monoxide because that is bad for you
0:48
Carbon dioxide, good for your plants, good for the earth. Noxide, kill you
0:54
So, yeah. Okay. So, guys, I know I've been waiting for. this and I've been running it and running it I've ran over a hundred hours I changed the
1:05
got the break in the 10 hour oil and the hard old a hard hour old change before I did a review on
1:13
this to make sure it was reviewable and so far been running really good did have a few issues
1:22
with it seemed like water in the fuel or something we're on a boat and that happens but
1:29
But yeah, the thing has been pretty darn good. I will show you the faults we've had with it, but to supplement what our solar doesn't bring
1:41
in, which is right above me here, this has done a pretty great job
1:45
And we've been running this for, I believe, about eight months, seven months, somewhere around there
1:52
And yeah, it's done really well. So on the front of the panel here, you'll see these USBs
1:59
they should have cover over these or I don't even know why you'd want
2:05
USB directly on the generator because you have outlets so that is something I don't like and that's
2:16
pretty much it. I really like the eco I ride all the time
2:21
I have overloaded it a few times and it recovered from that very well So hopefully you can see all this But let go ahead and start this thing and I show you how easy as it starts
2:36
So first you turn it on, pull the choke. Then at the top here, you'll have turn this to the on position
2:47
And you have it in eco mode. and then you just pretty much started
2:55
And as you saw there, it started on the very first try. Now, to power up something, I'm going to go ahead and put this up here
3:08
I usually tie in. Hopefully it doesn't fall down. I'll go ahead and tie this in because that's kind of scary right there
3:16
Okay, now this is secure. I'm going to go ahead and put a load on this
3:21
Now, this is a 2,500 watt generator, but your peak load, I mean, your average load, should be about 1900 watts
3:32
That's 15 amps. So inside, I have my imber set to charge at 15 amps
3:38
Now, I can adjust it down and up wherever I see fit. But that would put the max nominal load
3:46
I can run off this thing. So it's pretty happy doing this. that and I put a lot of hours on doing that as well. So I'll plug this in and I know
3:55
they say keep it unplugged but the way I have the inverse setup is it waits for
4:02
the power and then it applies it later. So plug this in and here we go
4:11
Choke start. It should kick on here soon
4:22
There it goes. It's starting
4:40
And then it's going to wrap up. now let go inside and I show you what it actually doing Okay so we inside the house and down here is all my adjustments for my power
5:03
So, and then of course my breaker panel right here. I will get to that in a little bit and show you how we run the AC
5:10
So right here on this multifunction, you'll see I have the amp set 15 amps right here
5:17
and it's a bulk charge and if I adjust this down to you'll hear the generator die down
5:24
and I have that charge only that means the house is also running on any accessories you run
5:32
would run on the generator itself so I'm going to go ahead and turn this all the way down
5:39
and we're going to experiment with some AC and if I needed AC power in the house while I'm
5:46
right and they see it'd have to turn this over to here to turn on theκ±°λ μ
5:52
Now in our breaker panel I'm to well I've got it bridged so I'm only running on one
6:00
30 amp cord but this generator makes a max of 20 amps so that's more than enough so I'm
6:11
I'll flip on our aircon there. And down here you'll see our aircon starting
6:19
And this is a 1800 or 18,000 BDAU. So it pretty much uses the max this generator will
6:28
will produce. So I turned it on. And we'll hear it starting
6:36
So the aircon is starting. You hear it right there. got the vent going on
6:43
and there's the peak that's the surge I do have soft starts on these ACs
6:52
so it will lessen that blow on the start but it still probably gets close to the
6:59
20 amp area when it first hits and then it runs about the same as when I'm charging the batteries
7:05
just on the house I can actually go in here and I can charge about two amps more so I'm running this at night
7:13
So I still putting a little bit of my batteries as well let me show you that So when I using this at night and we want to run AC I turn it back over to there because we not cooking or anything because we have that electric kitchen
7:27
And I can bump this up to about two amps and I'm still getting charged. You see my bulk charges came on there
7:38
And we are running the AC as well. Now to turn this generator off
7:44
when I'm done with it and it still hasn't run out of gas
7:51
Go ahead and do this. All I do is I sit there and I turn my amps down to zero
7:59
I'll flip this back over to house so I'm not pulling a load on it
8:03
Then I come out to my generator with no load and now just shut that off
8:11
And then I'll close this to keep water from getting in my
8:14
my fuel there. So if this review of this generator inverter was helpful, I'd go ahead and like the video

more of how we power our house on the water and also do a full electric kitchen I
8:59
can show that I think on average we use about between 50 and well this month we
9:09
used a hundred dollars in fuel which is cheaper than our electric bill but
9:14
But we had friends on the boat. Got a spider on my hand right there. I'm
