Surfacing Boat Floor For Fiberglass EP #33 || Bayliner Bowrider 175
So we have to fill holes and put some fiberglass down to prepare the wood boat floor surface for paint. Glad to see this floor is coming together, working with fiberglass, expanding foam, and wood has been fun, but we are glad to be done. In a future boat, we get we know that this is one thing we will look at to make sure we don't have to do it again. For this video, we sand the boat floor to knock down any bumps that won't feel good on the feet. Then we make up a thickened resin to fill any holes, like where we drilled the floor to add expanding foam. After the resin is dry we hit it again with the sander and minus the ski locker, we are ready for paint.
