Remove Head Off Mercruiser 3.0 Liter EP #3 || Bayliner Bowrider 175
Took us about 2 hours to take the head off this boat engine for a Mercruiser 3.0 Liter engine in a 2004 Bayliner 175 Bowrider. The head did have a valve that was stuck, so we are going to have to get that machined, but I was really happy with the condition of all the parts as we took this apart. The Mercruiser 3.0L seems to have scare-free cylinders that you could barely hang your nail on. Still worried cause of the big jug of oil on the boat. If this engine gets a new head and then there is a ring issue on the piston or the engine was overheated, we are going to have some issues.
