Stern Drive Off, Engine Out, Rebuild EP #13 || Bayliner Bowrider 175
The engines out, the Stern Drive off, and the engine is ready to be shipped to the machine shop Xcessive Engines for a rebuild. It should only take about 2 weeks to get the engine back, and if Xcessive Engines has engines in stock they ship out right away. I guess it being summer their inventory is a bit low, but we think we have a good core to build off of, plus it comes with a two-year warranty. Update on JB Automotive, the shop closed its doors because of poor workmanship and management. Josh was a good guy to talk with, not so much to send mechanic work to. What I should have done here, what my wife said, is to build an AFrame to pull the Mercruiser 3.0 out of the Bayliner Bowrider. We would not have had so many parts lost later in this boat project.
