With the tide out, we notice how far it has receded, revealing a vast expanse of beach. Our dinghy is drifting away, but we’re anchored securely, ready to enjoy our time here. The tranquility of the scene is captivating. While my wife snaps a photo on the swing, I can’t help but feel a sense of peace wash over me.

Discovering the Buff House

After soaking in the views, we decide to check out the Buff House, a local spot known for its drinks. As we stroll along the beach, the sugar-like sand feels amazing beneath our feet. We’re greeted by the sight of a lone hill, which feels like a hidden gem in the Bahamas.

Once at the Buff House, we can’t resist the urge to indulge. The ambiance is perfect for relaxation, and we’re ready to treat ourselves after a week of frugal grocery shopping. The moment you’re in a beautiful place, it’s easy to forget about the budget!
