Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 400 Degrees Fahrenheit
Baking Time: 40 – 50 Minutes (Depends how thick you cut the Potatoes)
Melting Cheese: 10 Minutes
Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper
Cheesy Crispy Taco Garlic Fries Ingredients:
6 Potatoes
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (About 2 Cloves)
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Cheesy Crispy Taco Garlic Fries Instructions:
1. First, wash the Potatoes. Then cut the Potatoes in to Steak Fries. We cut the Potato in half long way, then cut the halves in half, then the halves in half again. You should get 8 Potato wedges per Potato. Put them in a bowl for next step.
2. Next you will add Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fresh Minced Garlic, Ground Cumin, Chili Powder, Cayenne Pepper and Salt to the bowl of Potato Wedges. Mix up all the Ingredients really well. Now you will need a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper (we like to use Parchment Paper because Cheese will NOT stick to it). Evenly spread all the Seasoned Potato wedges on the Baking Sheet.
3. PreHeat the Oven at 400 Degrees F. Bake for 40 Minutes, then Check the Potatoes. The bottom of Potato wedges should be Crispy not soft, the top of the potatoes will be crispy. More Baking time may be needed if the potatoes are not browning. We don’t flip them, just let the Potatoes Bake.
4. Take the Crispy Taco Garlic Fries out of the oven, then Sprinkle Cheese all over the Fries. Bake at 400 Degrees F. for 10 Minutes.
