Cheesy Zucchini Steaks are a different delicious way to make Zucchini! These are cut in to Steaks and Seasoned with Garlic, Dill Weed, Black Pepper and then topped with Cheddar Cheese! These are great as a Side Dish or a Vegetarian Meal!

Zucchini Steaks are thick slices of Zucchini seasoned and Baked. These are hearty and can be a main coarse especially if your wanting a vegetarian meal or pair them with meat as a side dish. These Zucchini Steaks have a Dilly Ranch style taste topped with Cheddar Cheese, a Delicious Combination! Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 400 Degrees Fahrenheit
Baking Time: 15 Minutes (10 Minutes Roasting, 5 Minutes Melting Cheese)

Cheesy Zucchini Steaks Ingredients:

2 Medium Zucchinis 
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic (about 2 cloves)
1 1/2 Teaspoons Dried Dill Weed (1 1/2 Tablespoons of Fresh)
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese 

Cheesy Zucchini Steaks Instructions:

1. First, PreHeat Oven at 400 Degrees F. Next, you will need a Baking Sheet Lined with Parchment Paper. Cut the Ends Off the Zucchini, then Cut them in Half. Cut each Half in Halves Lengthwise and place them on the Baking Sheet. Now, in a Bowl Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Minced Garlic, Dill Weed, Salt and Black Pepper. Mix up and Brush each Zucchini Steak with the Marinade on the top. 

TIP: To prevent the Zucchini from rolling on the pan, Sliver off a little bit on the Skin side to lay flat!

2. Next, Put the Zucchini Steaks in the PreHeated Oven for 10 Minutes. You want them to still have a slight firmness. After 10 Minutes, Take out them out of the Oven and Sprinkle the Shredded Cheddar Cheese on Top of Each of the Steaks. Put them back in the Oven for 5 Minutes to Melt the Cheese. Take out and let them Slightly Cool before Serving!
