Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Oven Baking Temperature: 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
Baking Time: 35 – 45 Minutes
Makes 2 Loaves
Chocolate Banana Cake Bread Ingredients:
2 Cups White Flour
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Butter Melted
1 Cup Sugar (We use Sugar Cane Sugar)
3 Eggs
3 – 4 Very Ripe Bananas (The Browner the Better)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional
Chocolate Banana Cake Bread Instructions:
1. First thing to do, In a Bowl add Flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Soda, Baking Powder and Salt. Mix up Thoroughly and Set aside.
2. Next, In another Bowl or your Mixer Bowl add Melted Butter and Sugar. Mix until the Sugar is incorporated in to the Butter. Then add Mashed Ripe Bananas and Mix again. Now add the Eggs and Mix Again. Try not to Over Mix, the Bananas will be slightly chunky.
TIP: Mixing can be done by Hand or in your Mixer. If you are Mixing by Hand, Make sure the Ingredients are blended well!
3. Now add the Dry ingredients to the wet Ingredients and Mix well. Make sure all Ingredients are mixed but don’t over mix your batter. The Longer you mix the batter, the more Dense your Bread will be.
4. PreHeat the Oven at 350 Degrees F. Now Butter 2 Loaf Pans. Then separate the Chocolate Banana Cake Bread Batter between the 2 Loaf Pans and then even out the batter in the Pan.
5. Next Put the Loaves in the Oven and Bake for 35 – 45 Minutes. All ovens cook differently, the best thing to do is Bake for 35 Minutes, then check the Bread. More time may be needed. When the Bread is done, take out of the oven and let cool in the Pans before removing the Bread from the Pans.
TIP: Bread should always be covered or it will Dry out. Store the Bread in a Plastic Bag or Tupperware Container! This will Keep it MOIST!
