Motorboater Down! We Rescue The Crew, Then Sailboat Repairs Again

We Rescue a sailor who’s Motorboat sunk, from what I gather his transom failed. They did use a sailboat to recover the sunken boat. The good thing is they were able to flush the 2 stroke engine.

We have more crazy jobs, the bow head vacuum pump fails, gets really smelly. The new motor we installed had a failed gear box, luckily we save the old motor. The old gear box didn’t fit so it was time for me to learn how to fix electric motors. Everything was a success, and now I have new skills in my toolbox.

The toilet wasn’t the only thing that broke, our fridge door lift failed. Well the lift wasn’t the problem, the whole wall came apart. Then my bathroom springs a major water leak, and you know how precious water is on a boat. This pex plumbing is getting annoying, forming a love hate relationship with it.

So with parts needed, we make a run to the hardware store. Not as easy without a car, so while out better get some food as well. Also we have to hurry before the generator on the boat runs out of gas. We leave it running to keep our dog in the ac and she wouldn’t be happy if it shutoff.
