Rutabaga is a Root Vegetable similar to Turnips. We like to eat them Roasted in the Oven, the flavor is a cross between cabbage sweetness and Turnips with a Potato texture. Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Oven Temperature: 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
Oven Roasting Time: 45 – 55 Minutes

Roasted Sweet Rutabaga Ingredients:
6 Cups Rutabaga Cubed
1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/8 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
3 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 3 Cloves)
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Roasted Sweet Rutabaga Instructions:
1. First, you need to prepare the Rutabaga. Peel the outside layer off the Rutabaga with a Potato Peeler, then start cutting it into 1 inch cubes and put them on a Baking Sheet.
2. Next, In a Bowl, add Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Fresh Minced Garlic, Salt and Ground Black Pepper. Mix up the Marinade and then Pour it over the Cubed Rutabaga on the Baking Sheet. Mix up the Cube Rutabaga with the Marinade, Making sure all Cubes are Coated. Spread the Rutabaga out on the Pan evenly.
Let Marinate on the Pan for 15 Minutes.
3. PreHeat Oven at 375 Degrees F. Roast the Rutabaga for 45 – 55 Minutes or until done. No need to turn them unless you want too, they Roast up nicely.

Your recipe looks great and I’m trying it tonight. However, your ingredients list 1/8 balsamic vinegar. Qty, please 🙂 I’m planning on adding 1 to 2 tablespoon(s) of white balsamic to the marinade/cooking mixture. Maybe a bit more. Looking forward to the results!
