Sausage Broccoli Quinoa is Made with Tex Mex Seasoned Roasted Broccoli, Roasted Turkey Sausage and Tossed with Prepared Quinoa for a Delicious Dinner!

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 375 Degrees Fahrenheit 
Oven Roasting Time: 35 – 40 Minutes (For Sausage and Broccoli Only)
Quinoa: Cook according to Instructions

Sausage Broccoli Quinoa Ingredients: 

2 Cups Uncooked Quinoa
4 Teaspoons Chicken Bouillon (We use Better Than Bouillon)
5 Sausages (Use Turkey, Chicken or Pork)
4 Cups Unthawed or Fresh Broccoli
3 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 3 cloves)
3 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Sausage Broccoli Quinoa Instructions:

1. PreHeat Oven at 375 Degrees F. Now, you will need a Nonstick Baking Sheet or Put Parchment Paper on the Pan. Next, Add Broccoli, Fresh Minced Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Ground Cumin, Chili Powder, Salt and Ground Black Pepper to the Baking Sheet.

2. Now, Mix up all the Broccoli Ingredients (we use our hands to do this, it’s easier). Then, Put the Seasoned Broccoli on one side of the Pan, Make sure not to overlap the Broccoli. Put the 5 Sausages on the other side of the Pan, Spaced Evenly.

3. Next, Put the Sausages and Broccoli in the PreHeated Oven and Roast for 25 – 30 Minutes. Then, Flip the Sausages Over and Roast for 10 More Minutes.

While the Sausages and Broccoli are Roasting, this is a good time to cook the Quinoa. Add 2 Cups to a Stovetop Pan with 4 Cups of Water, Add the Chicken Bouillon to the Pan. Cook According to Instructions on the Package.

TIP: If you are using Boxed or Canned Bouillon or Stock, Use 4 Cups and Don’t Add Water or the Chicken Bouillon for the Quinoa!

4. Now, Everything is done Roasting and Cooking. Put the Cooked Quinoa in a Bigger Pan. Next, Cut the Sausages in to Coins and Add to the Pan of Quinoa Along with the Roasted Broccoli. Stir all the Ingredients Together and Serve!
