Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Refrigerator Marinating Time: 1 Hour
Serves 6
Sweet Dilly Cucumber Salad Ingredients:
2 Cucumbers (we use Hot House Cucumbers, also known as English Cucumbers)
2 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 2 cloves)
4 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons Dry Dill Weed (Fresh Dill Weed can be used)
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Sweet Dilly Cucumber Salad Instructions:
1. First you will need a Bowl with a Lid. Now cut your Cucumbers in half long way and then cut them into about a 1/2 inch Chunk. We like ours to be Chunky Cucumbers so the Marinade doesn’t make the Cucumbers soggy!
2. Next, add Fresh Minced Garlic, Balsamic Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Dill Weed, Salt and Pepper in the Bowl with the Cut up Cucumbers.
3. Now, mix up the Ingredients really good, make sure all the Marinade coats all the Cucumber Chunks.
TIP: We put the lid on and Shake the Bowl really good, to mix up all the Marinade!
4. Put the Lid on the Bowl, Refrigerate for 1 Hour before serving. This allows all the Ingredients to soak in to the Cucumbers!
