Budget is very important!
I don’t consider myself an expert at this but, I can tell you I shop on a budget for my family of all boys without clipping coupons! I have done the searching and collecting of coupons but found, I rarely used them! Why? Because we like to eat REAL food, Fresh! There is a way to do this on a budget!
1. Only go grocery shopping 2 times a month
2. Write a list (this also helps in NOT having to run back to the store)
3. Only buy what meat, fruit, vegetable is on sale that day.
This also allows you to try new fresh foods and create new menu’s. Of course, there are the usual items you may need that will not be on sale, so plan and budget accordingly! Stay away from junk food, that is a huge money waster, it gets eaten too fast and is very unhealthy. When you see an item you use a lot on sale, stock up!
Another thing I do is, make sure you are signed up at your favorite store with their rewards program! You can quickly log in and add store coupons to your card. I averagely save $10 to $20 a month on items we use. Not a lot of savings but it takes 5 minutes to do! These are the budget savings tips I use every month, if you have any other budget friendly ways of saving money food shopping, feel free to comment below!
