Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
Roasting Time: 35 Minutes (Chicken Sausage)
Roasting Time: 15 Minutes (Kale)
Boiling Pasta: 10 – 15 Minutes

Chicken Sausage Kale Pasta Ingredients:

16 Ounces Penne Pasta Dried
5 Chicken Sausages  (about 1 Pound)
8 Cups Fresh Kale Chopped
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
3 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 3 Cloves)
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Chicken Sausage Kale Pasta Instructions:

1. First PreHeat the Oven at 375 Degrees F. Now you will need a NonStick Baking Sheet ( or use Parchment Paper on the Sheet). Add 1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the Baking Sheet to coat it. Then put the Chicken Sausage on the Baking Sheet and Roast for 20 Minutes. (Don’t Flip Yet)

2. While the Chicken Sausage is Roasting, Next is to prepare the Kale. In a Bowl, Add Chopped Kale, 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fresh Minced Garlic, Salt and Black Pepper. Mix up all the Ingredients and let Marinate while the Chicken Sausage is Roasting.

3. During this time, Start Boiling a Pot of Water for the Pasta. After, the Chicken Sausage has Roasted for 20 Minutes, Take the Pan out of the Oven. Flip the Chicken Sausages Over and put them on one side of the Baking Sheet. Add the Marinated Kale to the other Side of the Baking Sheet. Roast for 15 More Minutes.

Also, Cook the Penne Pasta according to Instructions, usually 10 – 15 Minutes, Don’t overcook the Pasta.

4. When the Pasta is done, Drain the Water out and put the Pasta Back in the Pot for next step. At this time, The Chicken Sausage and Kale should be done Roasting. Take out of the Oven and Slice the Chicken Sausages in to circles, Add the Roasted Chicken Sausages and Kale to the Pot of Cooked Penne Pasta.

5. Mix up all the Ingredients and Serve! Since Chicken Sausage does not have much grease, you can add a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil if needed.
