Mashed Cream Cheese Red Potatoes are Creamy Red Potatoes with Skin left on and Mashed with Cream Cheese, Butter and Fresh Garlic!

Mashed Potatoes can be Creamed up in so many ways, This one is with Creamy Cream Cheese! You don’t even need Gravy! Serve these Delicious Red Potatoes with any Meat for a Comfort Food Dinner. Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Stove Top Temperature: Bring to Boil then Simmer
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes (or until the Potatoes are Soft)

Mashed Cream Cheese Red Potatoes Ingredients:

8 – 10 Big Red Potatoes (about 3 Pounds)
1/2 Cup Butter
8 Ounce Package Cream Cheese Softened
3 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 3 Cloves)
2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Teaspoons Ground Black Pepper

Mashed Cream Cheese Red Potatoes Instructions:

1. First thing to do, is to prepare the Red Potatoes. Cut the Potatoes in to 1/2 Inch Cubes. Then put them in a Pan and Fill with Water just above the Potatoes, Add Salt. Bring the Potatoes to a Boil, then Simmer until Soft, about 30 Minutes. Drain the Potatoes when done and put them back in the Pan.

2. Next, Add Butter, Softened Cream Cheese, Fresh Minced Garlic, Salt and Ground Black Pepper. Do Not let the Red Potatoes cool before adding the Ingredients.

3. Now with a Potato Masher, Start Mashing all the Ingredients until Creamy. Once you have Mashed the Red Potatoes and Ingredients, Use a Big Spoon to Whip the Mashed Red Potatoes to make sure most of the Potato Lumps are out. Ready to Serve!

TIP: We don’t use a Mixer because the Potato Skin will get clogged up in it, You can cream these really easy by hand!
