Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Marinating Time: 1 Hour
Oven Temperature: 400 Degrees Fahrenheit
Oven Roasting Time: 25 Minutes (Medium Well, Slight Pink in the Middle)
Resting Time: 15 Minutes (this allows all the Juices to really soak in)
Oven Roasted Garlic Crusted Top Sirloin Ingredients:
2 Pounds Top Sirloin Steak
1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
4 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 4 Cloves)
Salt to Taste Optional (only add after the Steak is done and Rested to prevent the steak from drying out)
Oven Roasted Garlic Crusted Top Sirloin Instructions:
1. First thing to do, You will need an Oven Safe Skillet Pan, or any nonstick pan will work. Put the Top Sirloin in the Pan then with a Fork, stab the Steak all over on both sides.
2. Next, in a Small Bowl, add the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and Half the Ground Black Pepper. Mix the Marinade up really well, then Pour it over the Top Sirloin Steak. Flip the Steak over about 5 Times back and forth. You really want the Marinade to Soak in to the Steak.
3. Now, add the Fresh Minced Garlic on top of the Top Sirloin, Spread the Garlic to cover the entire top of the Steak. Sprinkle the Ground Black Pepper all over the top of the Steak. Next, Let the Top Sirloin Marinate for 1 hour at Room Temperature.
4. PreHeat Oven at 400 Degrees F. Roast the Top Sirloin for 25 Minutes (this will be Medium Well done). If you prefer more Rare, about 15 Minutes should be good. If you prefer Really Well Done, Roast for 30 – 35 Minutes. Make sure not to dry the steak out, it should be a little Juicy.
When the Top Sirloin is Done, Take it out of the Oven and Let it Rest for 15 Minutes before Slicing. Make sure to Pour the extra marinade from the Pan over the Steak! At this time, you can add Salt, we prefer no Salt!
