Roasted Tex Mex Cabbage Steaks Ingredients:

1 Head of Cabbage
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (about 2 cloves)
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper  

Roasted Tex Mex Cabbage Steaks Instructions:

1. First, you need to prepare the Cabbage. Take the Outer Layer Leaves off, Then cut the End of the Cabbage Head Off. Cut the Cabbage Head into Thick Slices and put them on a Nonstick Baking Sheet (or use a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper).

TIP: If you have a Large Cabbage Head, Cut the Cabbage Head in Half and then into thick Slices.

2. Now, In a Bowl, Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Fresh Minced Garlic, Ground Cumin, Chili Powder, Salt and Ground Black Pepper. Mix up the Marinade really well. With a Pastry Brush, Start Brushing the Marinade on Top of all the Cabbage Steaks. Let Sit and Marinate for at least 20 Minutes.

3. PreHeat the Oven at 400 Degrees F. Roast the Marinated Cabbage Steaks for 40 – 45 Minutes or until you can pierce the Steaks with a Fork. Take out and Serve.
