Lentils are a great source of protein and we like to make our Lentils with No Meat! Seasoning them with Chili Spices and Slow Cooking Lentils makes them taste like Chili. We don’t call this a Vegetarian Meal because the Lentils have Chicken Bullion in it but you could use Vegetable Bullion to make them Vegetarian! Our Budget Friendly Meal is Simple and Full of Flavor, Serve these up with Bread, Crackers or Dip some Tortilla Chips in the Lentils!

Slow Cooker Temperature: High
Slow Cooker Cooking Time: 5 Hours
Serves 6
Slow Cooker Meatless Chili Lentils Ingredients:
16 Ounce Dry Lentils
6 Cups Water
6 Teaspoons Chicken Bullion (We only use Better Than Bullion)
4 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (About 4 Cloves)
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
3 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
TIP: You can also use Canned or Boxed Chicken Bullion in place of Water and Better Than Bullion!
Slow Cooker Meatless Chili Lentils Instructions:
1. First thing to do, Rinse the Dry Lentils and put them in your Slow Cooker or Crock Pot. Then add Water, Chicken Bullion, Fresh Minced Garlic, Balsamic Vinegar, Ground Cumin, Chili Powder and Black Pepper. Stir the Ingredients until they are Mix thoroughly.
2. Now Put the Lid on the Slow Cooker and Turn the Temperature to High. Cook the Lentils for about 5 Hours. Make sure to stir The Lentils at least 2 times while cooking to make sure ingredients are cooking evenly. When the Lentils are done, all the Liquid will be gone, Lentils will be soft and it will look like a Thick Chili.
