Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Refrigerator Marinating Time: 1 Hour
Serves 6
Sweet Basil Dill Cucumber Salad Ingredients:
2 Cucumbers (we use Hot House Cucumbers, also known as English Cucumbers)
2 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic
4 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons Dried Dill Weed (2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill Weed)
1 Teaspoon Dried Basil (1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil)
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Sweet Basil Dill Cucumber Salad Instructions:
1. First you will need a Bowl with a Lid. Now cut the Cucumbers in Half Long way and then cut them into about a 1/2 inch Chunks. We like our Cucumbers in Chunks so the Marinade doesn’t make them Soggy.
2. Next, Add Fresh Minced Garlic, Balsamic Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Dried Dill Weed, Dried Basil, Salt and Ground Black Pepper to the Bowl of cut up Cucumbers.
3. Now, Mix up all the Ingredients, Make Sure all the Cucumbers are Coated with the Marinade. Then put the Lid on and put the Cucumber Salad in the Refrigerator for 1 Hour before Serving to Marinate.
TIP: We put the Lid on and Shake the Bowl to Mix all the Ingredients!
