These finally became a Family Favorite when we experimented with Balsamic and Cilantro, the flavor is delicious! The crispiness of the outside of the Turkey Meatballs and Balsamic is a slight sweet caramelized flavor with the inside of the meatballs being very Juicy. Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
Baking Time: 30 – 50 Minutes (Depending on size of Meatballs)
Serving Size: Makes up to 20 Meatballs (Depending on size you make the Meatballs)
Balsamic Cilantro Turkey Meatballs Ingredients:
2 LBS Ground Turkey
2 Eggs
3/4 Cups Oatmeal
2 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic
4 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Salt
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Turkey Meatballs Instructions:
1. You will need a Bowl for all the Ingredients. Now add Ground Turkey, Eggs, Oatmeal, Garlic, Balsamic Vinegar, Cilantro. Black Pepper and Salt.
2. Next you will need a Baking Pan (we love to use our Calphalon Skillet Pan for most of our cooking) that can go in the oven. Add 2 – 4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil to the pan you will be using.
3. Now it’s time to get your hands dirty! Mix up all the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly. Using your hands to squish all the ingredients together, making sure you get the ingredients on the bottom of the bowl.
Tip: Before Mixing up the Meatball Ingredients, Lotion up your hands with Olive Oil! This helps the Ground Meat NOT stick to your Hands!
4. Start making Meatballs and putting them in the Pan with Olive Oil. (We like our Meatballs BIG, if you want Appetizer size Meatballs, then you will probably need another pan with Olive Oil.)
5. PreHeat Oven at 375 Degrees F.
Bake for 30 Minutes, then it will be time to flip the Meatballs over.
(For Appetizer size Meatballs, we recommend turning the Meatballs over after 15 Minutes.)
Picture shows you what they will look like after 30 Minutes!
6. After you have flipped the Turkey Meatballs, Cook for another 20 Minutes.
(For appetizer size Meatballs, we recommend cooking them for another 15 Minutes.)
Picture shows what the Meatballs will look like after final cooking!
7. Take the Meatballs out of the oven when fully done cooking and flip them over again.
All that juice will soak in a little bit and makes the Turkey Meatballs Juicy and Crispy on the outside!
