Our delicious Garlic Balsamic Chicken Pasta was developed and inspired by our Grilled Chicken with Balsamic and our Chicken Pot Pie Pasta! This simple recipe with garlic and balsamic flavors marinated in to the chicken tastes delicious over PASTA! We used the juices from baking the chicken to FLAVOR this dish and soak up in to the Penne Pasta, No extra sauce is needed or cheese!

Baked Chicken Cook Time: 40 – 50 minutes
Oven Temperature: 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
Boiling Pasta Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4-6 People
Chicken Pasta

Garlic Balsamic Chicken Pasta:

16 Ounces Penne Pasta (Organic Pasta Is what we use)
4-6 Boneless Chicken Breasts or Thighs
1 Pound Fresh or Frozen Green Beans (canned green beans would be to mushy in this dish)
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for marinating chicken and adding some to finish Pasta)
1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
4 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Salt to Taste (we salt just before serving)

Chicken Pasta Instructions:

1. The first thing to do is take the raw chicken and add 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, 2 Tablespoons of Garlic and Black Pepper and put it all in the pan you will be baking in the oven with! Make sure all Chicken is coated and covered with marinade, Let sit for 20 minutes while the Oven is heating up to 350 Degrees F.

TIP:

It should look like this. The extra liquid you might see is the from the chicken, it also helps the meat to stay moist while cooking!

2. Bake for 40 minutes then check the Chicken. Take a fork and stab at the chicken, if it is easy to pull apart than it’s done! If it is tough, than the chicken needs to cook longer. Liquid should still be in the pan.

3. During the time the chicken is cooking, you will need to boil the Penne pasta. (With this recipe, we boil the pasta to a soft texture, NOT MUSHY and NOT Al Dente!)
Also prepare the Green Beans and cook them in water on the stovetop until they are soft but not falling apart. (About 15 Minutes of cook time.)

4. When Chicken is done, take out of the oven and set aside to cool a minute before slicing them up.
Pasta and Green Beans should be done cooking, drain both and put in a serving pan!
Now let’s get back to the chicken, Cut up chicken and put it back in the pan of juices like this!

5. Next, Put the additional 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil and Garlic over the pasta and green beans than add the pan of Sliced Garlic Balsamic Chicken. (My hubby shows you like this!)

6. Simply mix all the ingredients together and add, Black Pepper and Salt to taste! This dish does not need cheese! The flavor comes from the marinated Garlic Balsamic Chicken!

TIP:

Be careful to NOT over Salt, add some salt, than taste, repeat if more salt is desired. We try really hard to stick with the natural flavors of the food and NOT add Salt!

Trust us when we say the FLAVOR is delicious! We eat it like this but our boys like to add our Delicious Sour Cream Garlic Sauce on top!
