You Get What You Pay For
We got our boat back, yea, now onto the reason cheaper is not always better. If you remember we sent our boat to JB Automotive to just pull the engine out and put the newly rebuilt engine back in. Well, things did go back in the way we expected and we have a lot of work ahead.
The good news is the engine is back in the boat, the bad news is I have a box of parts that includes an oil pump. Last time we checked the oil pump is kind of important. We really hope this is an extra one and not what they thought was an extra part. Also, things are missing like bolts, dipstick, alternator bracket, belts, PVC assembly, and more. Probably going to be about $500 to get all the missing parts, plus we have to figure out the wiring and get the distributor stabbed correctly.
I hope you find humor in the included video below, sometimes you just have to laugh.
Please stay tuned for future updates.
