Fried Chicken Baked In Your Oven! Marinated Chicken with Balsamic and Garlic Coated and Cooked to a Crispy, Juicy Chicken with Lots of Delicious Flavors!

Our Oven Fried Chicken is a favorite chicken meal when we want something fried but healthier! A simple coating of Wheat Flour over our Marinated Chicken baked in the oven with Extra Virgin Olive Oil does the trick. We were inspired by our Grilled Chicken with Balsamic recipe, so we experimented with different healthier coatings. We found that Wheat Flour is a perfect coating with just the right amount of crispiness and flavor for this Oven Fried Chicken dish!

2. PreHeat Oven at 375 Degrees F. After the Chicken has marinated, next is the fun part! You will need a pan for the Oven and a small bowl for the flour. Pour 1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive oil in the pan. Put 1 Cup of Wheat Flour in the small bowl.

3. We use a fork to to take out the chicken from the marinating bowl. Than simply put the chicken in the bowl of flour and flip it back and forth till the chicken is fully coated, than gently put the chicken in the pan with Olive oil! Like this! (Sometimes we use our hands to really get a good coating.)

4. Repeat this step with all the chicken, add more flour to the bowl as needed (we don’t like to waste our flour, depending how big the chicken pieces are, depends on how much flour you will use!) When the pan is full, (you may need 2 pans like us!) than lightly Salt, Not too much!

5. Bake for 30 Minutes. Than it is time to flip the Oven Fried Chicken OVER! (You will still see some dry flour, don’t worry , that will continue to cook once you flipped the chicken for the second bake time.) As you see in this Photo, after the chicken is flipped over, you will not see any flour, see the ones that we already turned over!

6. Put the Chicken back in the oven to bake for 30 more minutes. Now it is starting to look like Fried Chicken! After 30 Minutes, you will need to flip the chicken again! Here’s what the Oven Fried Chicken will look like!

7. The Chicken is almost done at this point, we like to stick the pan back in the oven and Bake for another 10 minutes to get a harder layer of coating! Oven Fried Chicken is done after that!
