Chicken Street Taco:

4 Chicken Breasts Cooked (or leftover Turkey Meat, great way to use leftovers)
TIP: Add 2 More Hours of cook time if using Raw Chicken
2 Cups Chicken Bullion
2-4 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (depending on your Love for Garlic!)
2 Tablespoons Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 Cup Fresh Chopped Cilantro
Salt to Taste (we don’t add salt because Chicken Bullion has enough salt for us)
20 Soft Corn or Flour Tortillas

Topping Ideas:

Onions
Lettuce
Cilantro
Sour Cream (Try our Garlic Sour Cream Sauce)!

Street Taco Instructions:

1. Put cooked Chicken Breast (or Turkey) in the Crockpot with all ingredients except the Cilantro (that comes later). Break up the meat a little, so the ingredients can simmer and help break up the chicken during cooking. It will look like this!
TIP: You can use raw chicken breast but cooking time will be a lot longer, Approximately 2 More Hours!

2. Allow this to slow cook for 2 – 3 hours. In order to get the shredded chicken, the meat needs time to absorb all the chicken bullion liquid while marinating the seasoning into the meat!

3. During cooking process, use a fork to break up the meat. (This helps the chicken to absorb more flavor and liquid!) When the chicken is done, add cilantro! Your crockpot of Shredded Street Taco meat should look like this!

4. Now it’s time to make your delicious Chicken or Turkey Street Tacos! You can put our suggestions or be creative and add your favorite toppings! (Our family likes to add cheese!) We used Flour Tortillas because Corn Tortillas usually break apart.
