Butter Pan Biscuits with Honey and Whole Wheat Flour, Easy and Delicious!
Butter dipped biscuits never last long, especially if we serve them with dinner! These are Fluffy, golden brown and moist all in one biscuit. We call these our lazy day bread because they are fast and a crowd pleaser in our home! No cutting out dough! We created our recipe with Whole Wheat Flour and Honey and added White Flour so the biscuits would not be heavy and hard! They are delicious with dinner, soups (serve them with our Delicious Bean Stew) or try them with some jam, Yummy! We served them with our Grilled Chicken with Balsamic, great chicken recipe baked or grilled!

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Bake Time: 20 Minutes
Oven Temperature: 450 Degrees Fahrenheit
Pan Size: 8X8 or similar size
Honey Wheat Butter Dipped Biscuits:
1/3 Cup Butter (Real butter is better)
1 Cup White Flour (we use King Arthur Flour, it’s better quality and affordable)
1 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
2 Tablespoons Honey
1 1/2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Cup Milk
3/4 Cups Water
Biscuits Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees F (this biscuit recipe is quick to put together!) Melt the butter in the Baking dish you will be using (if pan is microwavable than melt butter in the pan, if not than melt butter in a microwavable bowl and pour into baking pan). Set aside!
2. Add Flour, Baking Powder and Salt in a bowl and mix it up a little. Now put Milk, Water and Honey over the dry ingredients and mix well! Dump the Biscuit mixture in the pan with melted butter and even it out than cut into 9 squares, like this (you can cut them smaller if you desire)!
TIP: We dip the knife in the butter several times to get clean cuts, so the Biscuit batter doesn’t stick while cutting!
3. Bake for 20 Minutes or til the Biscuits are not doughy in the center! When they are done, take them out and cool a few minutes before digging in (Biscuits might be hard to get out of pan if they are too hot.) They should be golden brown on top!
These Biscuits are so good and quick, you can eat them on there own, try some White Gravy or with jam like this, so delicious with better ingredients!

I love the sound of this recipe with the honey I haven’t seen one like that of this type of biscuit! My question is can I play around with the flour as long as the amount is the sane? We are. Not huge wheat flour lovers, some is fine but not the balance of it being wheat, plus I don’t have any in the house. Ty
Yes, I have made these with just white flour as well because I didn’t have wheat flour, still very good, a little bit of a different texture with just white flour!
