Installing a Steer Stabilizer is not that hard, but still has its issues. We replaced our Steering Stabilizer because just taking the factory one to replace the gears pretty much destroyed it. The hardest part of replacing your Steering Stabilizer is just taking the old one off.

We bought the Rough Country Steering Stabilizer to better handle the larger tires on our Jeep Wrangler. What better time to replace the Steering Stabilizer than when changing your gears because it is all going to have to move out of the way anyway. We were getting a little wobble “Death Wobble” and we needed to go through everything anyway. While the steering stabilizer won’t fix the death wobble, it will help mask it, but if this is your issue you should look at all your steering components.
