Chicken Thighs in the Slow Cooker are one of the most tenderness of the Chicken Meat, they are perfect for Slow Cooking with Marinades! We experiment a lot with Taco Seasonings and this Recipe is a Winner! It is simple and a great Dinner for those Busy Days! This Recipe was inspired by our earliest creation Family Favorite Tacos! Slow Cooker or Crock Pot Temperature: High
Cooking Time: 3 1/2 – 4 Hours
Serves 4 – 6
Slow Cooker Taco Chicken Thighs Ingredients:
8 Chicken Thighs – Bone In – Skinned
2 Cups Chicken Bullion (We love Better Than Bullion Chicken Paste)
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
4 Tablespoons Fresh Minced Garlic (4 Garlic Cloves Minced)
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Slow Cooker Taco Chicken Thighs Instructions:
1. First thing to do is take the Skin of the Chicken Thighs, Rinse the Chicken and then put them in the Slow Cooker Bone Down. Now add Lemon Juice and Fresh Minced Garlic.
2. Now it’s time to make the Marinade. In a Bowl, add the Chicken Bullion, Ground Cumin, Chili Powder and Cayenne Pepper. Stir the marinade so all the seasonings are mixed thoroughly.
3. Pour the Taco Seasoned Chicken Bullion Marinade over the Chicken Thighs in the Slow Cooker. Sprinkle Black Pepper over the Top.
4. Slow Cook the Taco Chicken Thighs for 3 1/2 Hours on High. If needed more time, add another 30 Minutes. When the Chicken Thighs are done, the Meat will Fall off the Bone! These Chicken Thighs will satisfy your Taco Craving!
